Kheer is a traditional dessert made with milk and rice. It is rich, creamy, and often prepared during festivals and celebrations.
Ingredients:
- 1 liter milk
- 1/4 cup rice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4-5 cardamom pods
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds and pistachios
- 1 tbsp raisins
Instructions:
- Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
- Boil milk and add rice.
- Cook on low heat, stirring frequently.
- Add sugar and cardamom once the rice is soft.
- Cook until thick and creamy.
- Add nuts and raisins.
