Creamy Pakistani Kheer Recipe (Rice Pudding Dessert)

Kheer is a traditional dessert made with milk and rice. It is rich, creamy, and often prepared during festivals and celebrations.

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4-5 cardamom pods
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds and pistachios
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Instructions:

  1. Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil milk and add rice.
  3. Cook on low heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Add sugar and cardamom once the rice is soft.
  5. Cook until thick and creamy.
  6. Add nuts and raisins.

Serving:

Serve warm or chilled.
